Nikkita is a model by profession. She has worked with various brands, designers, photographers, and also worked for international magazines.
“Before getting into modelling, I have worked as a teacher for four years. I got into modelling at the age of 27 which is considered to be very late. Though, I believe that it is never too late for anything one believe in. I chose to be a model because for me it is the sense of freedom. The fact I can be myself in front of the camera without any limitations keeps me loving and coming back for more”.
She started her modeling career with Cocoaberry Talent & Academy run by Alesia Raut and Anjali Raut. Later on, she started getting good projects because of the skills she showed in her initial shoots. She is the winner of the title Miss. Flawless at India’s Miss TGPC season 8. Since then, her life took an unexpected turn.
“It was indeed a moment to cherish. That was very precious moment and my parents celebrated my victory. Speaking about the drastic changes, it changed my life and daily routine. I started getting good projects and got the opportunities to meet the right people at the right time”.
In the initial years, Nikkita dealt with confidence issues to face the camera. However, she took it in a different way. She started treating the lens of the camera as her mother’s eyes who knows everything about her. And will love her even if she commits any mistakes. Her parents are her backbone. Adding to which, she says,
“My parents are very supportive. They have always encouraged me when it comes to my modelling career. I have reached here today only because of them. They are the ones who always motivated me to get into this beautiful industry when I was not confident about myself. I am very lucky to have them”.
Nikkita has a list of good experiences during her shoots and projects. To sum up in one line -‘ It is always a beautiful experience for her’. Though many times she faced rejections for starting late in the industry. Later, she joined a modeling agency with whom she worked for two years. But then she believes in meeting the right people at the right time is more important and this can take one a long way. Over time she met good people and her journey continued. This all happened because she strongly believe to be honest with herself.
“Modeling is my passion. I am very much passionate about my career and think about it all the time. Moreover, I wake up early and sacrifice my sleep for it. I have sacrificed my food cravings for it. Modeling drives me everyday to achieve what I want in life”.

In all her professional years, Nikkita has worked on several projects. She has worked with photographers Maan Shinde, Noor Khan, L’Oreal Kerastase, and other editorials. For her, delivering her 100 percent is important when it comes to working. She does not care about the world and never compared herself with anyone else. Discussing implied nudity, Nikkita said,
“There are two ways of achieving implied nudity in photos. The first is to make someone look as if he or she is naked when really, they are not. The other is to hint at the fact that one, or anyone else, might or might not be naked, but to leave the viewer guessing. It is fine unless and until one do not get fooled by anyone. Personally, I am not comfortable with it. I believe everyone has their own choice. That is completely fine”.
Nikkita is an animal lover. Because of her love for animals, she established D.A.W.A (Dombivli Animal Welfare Association) in 2014 as mentioned before. D.A.W.A Works for animals in various ways, such as adoptions, rescues of wildlife trapped in cities, animal birth control, awareness programs in schools and colleges. Her biggest achievements till now are not from modeling but through her work in different fields. She had done maternity deliveries of tigress and lioness which she thinks is a next-level feeling.
“Consider that neglect of animals can be closely linked to domestic violence. Animal abuse and domestic abuse are often closely connected. By reporting your suspicions, you may also be helping both the animal in need and the family concerned.Educate people around you about the issue. Help people to understand that they can intervene in situations where animals are being neglected or even tormented. Animals have a right to live without fear or pain. We have the responsibility to step in if their rights are not respected”.
