Joshua is an Afro-Indian model. Some of his friends helped him to get into modeling. Although it never occurred to him to become a model and it just happened somehow to him. Now, he is in love with modeling. He does such great work in front of the camera, even after being self-taught. Now he is a full-time model and has been in this profession for nearly 8 years. Joshua’s profile is a treat in itself for your eyes. He is tremendously amazing in the work he is into.
He also believes that he is very lucky to have an extremely supportive parent who always motivates him to do good. They do not have a problem with anything that Joshua chooses as a career, till the time he is happy his parents are also happy.
Outside of modeling, I am very much into sports like basketball. Besides that, I also love dancing, singing, and doing art and craft. All these are something I do in my free time which brings a lot of happiness to me. Even before modeling, I wanted to be a pilot and get into aviation as everyone from my family is into aviation. So that is something I would have done if not modeling.
He has been on Vogue Italia three times and also got featured in two Russian magazines and Elle India. Those are some of his greatest achievements. He already has received so many opportunities all by his dedication and hard work and surely a lot more to come his way.
I have faced a lot of criticism in the modeling industry. But that really never affected me. I just do not care what others have to say about me, till the time I am happy with my work and everything, no one else’s opinion really matters. This particular attitude of mine has helped me a lot to face all types of criticism. I just believe you need to keep moving forward and not allow anything to come your way.
His personality has helped him a lot to get success in his modeling career. As he is very extroverted, outgoing, direct, and is kind of a people’s person so that helped him a lot getting work. He is also a kind person who does not take negativity of people which helped him a lot in this industry. However, he is very hard on himself sometimes to get success, which sometimes proves to be good but that does not help him mentally and physically at times. So, he does yoga and meditation to calm his mind.

He uses rejection as a stepping stone. Every time he gets rejected he tries to find what exactly went wrong and gives his best to improve that particular factor. He has also faced racism based. He had often been discriminated against by people on the grounds of his race. But because of his attitude of staying away from all kinds of negativity, all those discriminations never really affects him.
I suggest always have a plan B, if you get into modeling. Because this industry is very unpredictable and it is hard to survive for long here. So, it is always better to have an alternate career option. Becoming a full-time model is the toughest part according to me in modeling, as not everyone can achieve it. Although I am grateful to be a full-time model, it has a lot of struggle behind it.
He wants to give India a good Indo-African representation as that is something which lacks a lot in this country. Joshua wants to change people’s resistance as that is something he feels should improve in people’s mindset.
‘Whenever, wherever and forever, is his favorite quote that indicates that every time you need to be yourself, wherever you are and forever. He gets his inspiration from a lot of people like Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid because he kind of gets his persona in them. That is the reason he was more drawn towards these celebrities. He is also very much inspired by Alton Mason, the first black model to have walked for Chanel.
Modeling has helped me grow as a person. If it would have not been through modeling, I would not have been able to achieve whatever I could. It showed my real capability and what I can do best. It just made me feel more powerful.
