Meet Saud Hasan Khan, a fashion model following his interests in Modeling
Saud Hasan has an interesting story about how he started his modeling career in 2011. In the early stage of his modeling career, Saud faced rejections. He soon departed his way towards a corporate job in Delhi.
In 2014, he had changes in his looks, from long hair to short army cut hair. A designer noticed this and it was also a turnover in his modeling career.
He says he was told, to grow a thick beard for the fashion show. There were many other designers who also liked his work. Later, he worked with many other designers as well. After the fashion week, he was featured on the front page of Times of India. He also told that his new beard look gave him recognition.

Saud also says his family was very supportive throughout his modeling journey, during his ups and downs.
He had a tough schedule to follow during his peak modeling career. His day would start from 6 am and his campaign would end by 12 followed by other campaigns and shoots.
There are different things that interest him. Some of them are traveling, playing cricket, and exploring old cities with different cultures. He also says he loves playing cricket, and if he would have not been a model, he might have been a cricketer instead.
When asked about criticism in the fashion Industry. Saud says,
People in the industry are very straightforward. Shortcuts cannot help anyone reach anywhere rather, it’s just hard work that can help people to reach their milestones.
When asked about rejections in his career, he had a really good viewpoint. He notes
One should be humble when one has not reached the ultimate goal of life and keep their ego aside. Rejections are a part of your life which helps you become better.
Being an experienced fashion model, Saud says he didn’t face any pressure or stress during shoots. The more he worked the better he got.
But, initially, in his early shots, he faced challenges like the outcome of his pictures and costumes. But, as he spent more time on his shoots, it became his cup of tea. Saud also says that people usually think Fashion models or fashion industry people have a glamorous life. On this, he adds,
“But, it is just an illusion. In reality people work hard for that glamorous life. It is something which they work for day and night. It is not something which can be just bought”.
When asked about social media, in 2014, when he started social media platforms like Instagram were not as big as today. His Instagram handle was created by a choreographer named Sauteshrinki then. But at that time he used to be more active on Facebook, by 2018 he started being active on Instagram.
He also says that aspiring models are emerging on social media. It is a great platform for aspiring models to also work from Instagram. It is a good way to reach out to several people, get recognized and get work as well.
As Saud is an experienced model and a known personality in the modeling field when asked about future modeling goals he said,
‘He will be working as a model. But as he likes creativity he may as well go for designing clothes in future’.
When asked about his experience in ramp walks. He said in the beginning, he was a bit afraid. He shared one of his experiences. Once he was approached by the famous designer, Rajesh Pratap. He asked him to open the show. This was the time when his fear of walking on a ramp walk went away. After this experience, Saud says he was confident. And now, also been in almost every ramp walk of India. He has worked with almost all the designers of the industry.
Saud shared his experience and difficulties he faced during his pageant organized by Global Style Australia. It was only for established models of India. There, he won the title of Global Style India 2015 X factor.
He also says the journey was tough as all the best models of India came forward for this event. He was grateful to have won the title of x-factor and is in the second position.
When asked about implied nudity, Saud says that he doesn’t think there is nudity as such. The costumes made by the designers are for the sole purpose of the act and character of that person. He also says it’s all about design, character, and art. He says that there are people who represent their art in that way. Thus, it is art for him and not nudity.
