Dilip Paryani is a fashion model based in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. He was in college when he developed an interest in modeling. It has been two years since he is in the modeling industry. Being from an ancient and holy city, Dilip is into spirituality and is a Vastu expert. Whenever he feels low and alone, he visits temples.
“I wanted to do modeling when I was in college. On the other hand, we have family business, so I got involved in it. Therefore I was not able to give time to modeling. Modeling was my deep passion. Recently, I tried for modeling and got good opportunities. If I got a chance to go in past though not possible I would definitely start my modeling career early”.
Dilip’s family was very supportive of his decision of being a fashion model. He is happy about his work and doing better day by day. Additionally, he is also a producer and has a real estate business. He recently produced a web series. Talking about his producing project, Dilip says,
“I have produced a web series, Vintage Boys. The show is available on MX Player. It is a comedy series based on old age home. It is has been two months since it’s release and I have received a good response from the audience”.
Dilip is a strong-headed individual. He is an optimistic person and does not get hurt easily. This makes him different from others and stands out in the crowd. Being into different professions at the same time, when asked Dilip about his schedule, he revealed,
“I face a lot of problems regarding time management. I consider this as my biggest weakness. Moreover, my second weakness is that I cannot say no easily. If I got a call, an appointment or any assignment for which I did not have time, I am not able to say no for it. I try to manage time then”.
Presently, Dilip is working as a freelance model. He got his first modeling project in 2019. Then, he was just done with his portfolio with the help of a regional photographer. As a result, the brand Porwal Ethnics approached him for the shoot. Moreover, Dilip has been a part of several projects in such a short span of time in his career. He has worked with various designers, Asit Merchant, Vishal Kapoor, Mukesh Dubey, and Kingshuk Bahaduri. Also, he did a print campaign with Tiaan cosmetics, Herbs Wala, and many more. Last month, Dilip did a ramp walk in Uttarakhand Fashion Week.
Dilip completed his graduation in B Com from Vikram University. Then, he did MBA in Finance. During that time he got his first project. Dilip has not restricted himself to another artistic field. Therefore, if given chance he would also like to work in the acting industry and explore his other and hidden capabilities. Discussing his acting interest, Dilip shared that he is working on his second project as a producer and may also work as an actor.
Jatin Khirbat is an inspiration to Dilip. He looks up to him in the industry. Dilip believes Jatin has all the qualities of being a fashion model. Fashion for Dilip is more about how one carries themselves. The attire is definitely important but how one carry it is more important. Dilip feels the Indian fashion industry is achieving milestones and recognition on international platforms.
“In fashion, India is very different from other countries. We have varities here in India. We have western fashion but also our traditions. Even, in that we have different varities according to regions. There is North Indian, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali and the list is never-ending. So, the amount of fashion scope in india is much more than any other country in the world”.
Since Dilip is completely packed up with his busy schedule, he did not have time for other things. However, Dilip after his post-graduation was working in the special school. He used to teach children there and worked for three years in the school. Though he wanted to continue to teach children but could not because of his schedule. Therefore, in the future, if again Dilip got a chance for social welfare, he will work for the education of children. He strongly believes that sharing knowledge and imparting education is the best thing one can give and receive.
Strangely pandemic has helped Dilip to explore more in modeling. Adding to which Dilip says,
“Actually the affect of pandemic on my modeling career has been positive. Before that I wanted to explore more but was not able to manage my time. Nevertheless, pandemic gave me time and the golden opportunity to try and experiments new projects. Now, I have projects all over Madhya Pradesh”.
