”Every girl and every woman has the potential to make this world a better place, and that potential lies in the act of thinking higher thoughts and feeling deeper things.” One such ambitious girl is Shruti Prajapati. Shruti currently resides in Mumbai – The City of Dreams! The model is also pursuing her graduation in the field of Mass communication along with a modeling career.
Shruti’s mom is a teacher and her dad is an electrician. Yet, her parents, especially her mother have been supportive of her dream of becoming a model. Now, she is all set to work hard and make her parents proud one day.
Shruti always wanted to become a model and work for brands. She also wants to work in Tv advertisements or as an actor in television serials. Thus, Shruti took up admission to a media school to pursue her dream of becoming a model a year ago. She soon started working on herself and kept herself healthy. She also advises everyone to keep themselves hydrated and exercise regularly.
The model has always loved the Camera! Shruti not only loves DSLR photoshoots but loves mobile photography and finds it easy and quick. She loves to try her hands on various types of makeup hacks. The model often dresses herself up and clicks photographs.
The model began her first shoot in 2020 after the pandemic happened. She found it as an opportunity to grow and explore. Moreover, Shruti loves to try both western and traditional photoshoots. Shruti is currently learning through other models and influencers to know more about modeling and try her hands onto it. Subsequently, she believes social media is a huge platform for people to learn and grow, just like she did.
Shruti has always loved modeling. More than just a career, she looks up to it as her passion. If not a model, Shruti would prefer to be an actor. She has always loved the camera; the model would have been showcasing her skills in a daily soap.

Implied nudity has been on a rise for the last few years. Nowadays, Agencies look for models who are comfortable with Lingerie Shoots, bikini shoots, or bold photoshoots. The models who are not comfortable with the implied nudity in the industry, often face obstacles. It becomes tough for them to sustain.
“Models are being judged for their body exposure. Due to the nudity rise in the modeling world, the Indian society has been looking up to models in the wrong light. Many of the models give up on their modeling career halfway due to extreme nudity, which is sad and concerning”
Shruti has faced several criticisms in her journey so far. She has been criticized for her short height, appearance, her hair. There have been several stereotypes for which girls are looked up to. Right from a fairer skin tone to colored hairs, she has suffered obstacles. But the model decided to not give up on her dream. Shruti has now made it a point where she never lets herself down because of people’s opinions on her.
Shruti’s journey has been a roller coaster ride. She loves fashion, makeup, dressing in a unique way, photoshoots, Portrait filming, etc. Shruti aims to work with the topmost designers one day. To name a few, she would love to work with Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi, Ritu Kumar, one day. Shruti also wants to represent India in beauty pageants one day.

Shruti’s hobbies and interests apart from modeling have been singing. She has also auditioned for ‘Sing Dil Se’, an online singing platform. The model also loves Art. She likes drawing portraits, and sketches.
The toughest part of being a model for Shruti is to keep going with the trend. She also finds it important to know what will the audience love. Social media has been playing a very important role in today’s time, especially for newcomers. Modeling earlier was considered a tough job for young girls due to a lack of social outreach. But now, it’s been very easy for young models to start their careers with just a smartphone to shoot. With the help of social media, anyone can connect with anyone easily.
Shruti loves the culture of Halloween. Moreover, the idea of dressing up as devils excites her. She would try it someday. Also, Shruti would love to be a part of such Halloween themed party if she gets an opportunity to. Also, the model feels such creative ideas are important. Such ideas that excite the youth are important to connect with the youth.
Financial stability is important in a model’s career. It depends on the brand you’re working with. Moreover, If a model is working with a good agency at good pay, then she does not require any alternate source of income.
‘Modelling is not an easy job. It requires a lot of passion. The smooth ramp walk that you see, the model needs to do a lot of practices to achieve it.”
