Danish lost his mother at the young age of 7, and since then he is under the guidance of his grannies. Danish started his modeling career in 2019. Like others, he also went through the lockdown at the peak point of his career. But, Danish takes everything in a positive approach.
Agar raat hai toh sawera bhi aaega, aaj bura hai toh kal acha bhi hoga. (When its night, there is a dawn soon. If somethings bad today, there will be the good tomorrow). Many people give up if they lose something again and again but I don’t believe in it, one should wait for his or her good time.
However, in his childhood, Danish was passionate about football and wanted to represent his country in the game. He got all the financial and emotional support from his family. Danish represented his state in Junior National Championship. He accomplished his name in one of the biggest clubs in India named Real Kashmir FC. He also played in the biggest junior league.
But unfortunately, football was not his destiny. He got a severe injury during his nationals after which he was not allowed to play. Afterward, to overcome that, Danish moved to Delhi for further education and to explore more.
Gradually, he realized his interest in modeling and started focusing on that. He started working for every small opportunity he got. Danish did his first big ramp with the renowned brand Mehraab. Later on, he walked the ramp for famous fashion designer Siddhartha Tyler. In his initial years, Danish was quite nervous facing the new faces and cameras. Moreover, Danish has also worked with brands like Pantaloons, Jack & Jones, and, Raymond. He also worked for FIGO Calendar 2021, Hindustan Times, and The Kashmir Magazine. Talking about his first big project, he says,
It was like hitting a six on the first ball for me. Although, I feel very fortunate to have my native friend Salik Zargar with me. He helped me throughout the shoot. He also helped me further in grooming myself. However, I learned everything gradually and I am still learning and improving every day.
Danish also shares the impact of modeling on his life and he feels very grateful about it.
I feel very fortunate and happy that I pursued this, now I am independent. From there I started grooming myself as a person as well. I know how to cook, I quit my cigarette addiction, I overcame my camera anxiety. These small things make you a better person, always.
Danish also expressed his desire to share the ramp with Muzzamil Bhatt.
I would feel very fortunate if I get to share the ramp with Muzzamil Bhatt. He represents our country very beautifully and he is also from Jammu and Kashmir.
Danish doesn’t believe in overnight success.
Success is a slow process and I believe slow and steady wins the race. If you will get instant fame, you will not be able to get how to maintain that. But if you are experienced, you can do it easily.
His advice to the newcomers would be:
One should always keep in mind that if you want to be successful please make sure you have a good friend circle. Stay away from the bad addictions of the industry. Do not believe what you hear, believe in what you experience. Always keep a plan B for yourself. If your dreams don’t scare you, they are too small.
