Winter Wedding Outfits

Introduction

Winter Wedding Outfits: 10 Trendy Traditional Outfits Weddings are beautiful. Weddings in winter have their advantages. There is no humidity to ruin your hair and dress due to sweat. Your wedding pictures would be straight out of your dream.  As weddings are special for the couple, it is also special for the people related to them. There is a constant tension between what to wear and how to look beautiful for a wedding. And since it is a Winter wedding you will have to be conscious about your health too.

As a result, these are the Winter Wedding Outfits: 10 Trendy Traditional Outfits

Full-sleeve Anarkalis

Anarkali is a long dress-like garment that has a long frock-style top. It fits well with leggings which helps create a flattering flowing silhouette. It is usually long and goes to the knees or just below it. A straight-cut pant underneath an embroidered open Anarkali with ethnic jewelry is a perfect wedding look.

Long sleeves Kurtas

A kurta is a loose collarless shirt worn by every woman and man even as casual wear. For a wedding look, you can wear a kurta with a sharara. As shararas are loose you can wear thermal leggings inside them. Short, blouse-length kurtas with sharara in mild colors are a treat to the eyes. If you feel like looking simple and sober, you can go with a plain matka silk kurta with sharara.

Jackets

Jackets always enhance an outfit. It not only protects you from cold but also gives you a royal look. Both men and women can cover up and look attractive. You can add a literal blazer jacket to your lehenga. A blue shiny velvet blazer over a red lehenga stands out. Or you can use it as a shrug over your blouse, bomber jacket instead of a blouse, or pair a silk trench coat with a saree.

Full sleeves blouses

Blouses seem a must when it comes to a wedding. Right from the bride to the bridesmaids are seen wearing a lehenga and a blouse. Most of the time the blouses are backless and sleeveless which makes them difficult to protect from the cold. Hence if you wish to wear a blouse over a lehenga, make sure the blouse is of full sleeves.

Experiments with a shirt

Shirts are the most flexible clothes to experiment with. You can experiment with your wedding outfit with a shirt too. You can combine a silk shirt and a lehenga of the same color and then wear some long traditional necklaces over it. An embroidered georgette shirt with threadwork legend skirt when put on with a choker pearl necklace looks out of the ordinary.

Shawls and dupattas

Dupattas are the heart of any Indian outfit. They are for both men and women. The trick lies in the way you style it. Draping a dupatta or a shawl can also save you from cold. While choosing a shawl make sure you choose a wedding-worthy embellished one. You can tuck the dupatta into a belt when you are in a full-sleeve blouse. Wrapping the dupatta over both shoulders can give you a classy look. You can also drape a shawl over a classy saree.

Pretty and warm fabrics

Fabric plays an important role in the look of an outfit. You have the advantage of velvet kurtas immaterial of your gender. Silk and velvet combinations are the best. Raw silk lehenga and blouse with velvet dupatta are warm as well as shiny. You can mix and match silk dupatta and lehenga with different prints and shine in the wedding. Another fabric that can make you feel good and look good is satin.

Bandhgala with belt

The mix-and-match winter dresses are inevitable trendsetters for men. Bandhgala with a belt is an outfit that consists of a kurta with churidar pants and a belted Nehru jacket. It looks classy when you choose the perfect pastel colors for it. A hybrid of ethnic Nehru jacket-style accessories with an attached karate belt is a unique concept that will level up your outfit.

Brocade blazer

If you wish to stand out from the lot, all you have to do is upgrade your regular tuxedo. You deserve to look like a billion-dollar at any wedding you go to. A brocade blazer is just the right way to do that. You will have to balance your outfit to avoid looking like a glitter bomb. Select other parts of the outfit in darker hues of the same color as the glittering jacket.

Double-breasted waistcoat and printed blazer

Sometimes brocade blazers can be too much for some people. In such a case, you can always trust a double-breasted waistcoat and printed blazer as a toned-down option. Go for a print that is micro and muted in color tones, balancing out the minimalism theme of the overall look. Such waistcoat and blazer sets look much more elegant when paired in similar hues of the same shade.

Conclusion

The basic rules for staying warm at Winter Wedding Outfits are full sleeves, warm fabrics, and shawls. A combination of these can help you rock any wedding. Winter weddings can be lovely and soothing, especially for people who live in the harsh summers of India. Winter weddings are always tough to shop for. It makes it more painful if you have a beautiful dress and have to cover it with a shawl or a sweater. A wedding in winter is a challenge in itself. But now, you have a key to it. Rock that wedding and be a trendsetter following all the tips.
