The 24-year-old model originally had plans of becoming an actor. He comes from a Muslim family with six siblings. Elite Model Look India rejected him in 2015 and 2016. However, he did not give up and won the third time in 2017. He has been working with global brands like Alexander McQueen, Prada, Givenchy, and Maison Valentino since the age of 20. The model has also shot for Bazaar, GQ India, Vogue, Icon magazine, and Essential Homme-Paris among others. In an interview with Hindustan Times, he had said that his father had dreams of entering Bollywood. “Everybody in my family is crazy for Bollywood. My dad always wanted to become an actor. In fact, he was offered a film, but my grandmother never told him about the offer letter and his dream was shattered. That’s why he wanted to live his dreams through me”.
Mustafa has also been a regular face for Missoni, Stella McCartney, and Neil Barrett. He has also walked at fashion weeks in Milan, Paris, Loewe, and Études from France. Mustafa was mentored by model and pageant director, Marc Robinson who had faith in him to make it big. The model loves street-style outfits and inspires youngsters to aim high.
