“Sheer Qorma” is an upcoming short film that represents queer love directed by Faraz Arif Ansari and produced by Marijke de Souza. The cast of the film includes Shabana Azmi, Swara Bhaskar, and Divya Dutta. The film is a love story of Muslim women living in Canada. Swara will play the role of Pakistani Canadian while, on the other hand, Divya will be of Indian origin.
The film will premiere at BAFTA, after qualifying Frameline Festival, which is one of the prestigious LGBTQ+ film festivals in San Francisco. Moreover, another feather on the cap, now the film has won the title of Grand Jury award at Gasparilla International Film Festival in Florida. The film’s director shared the news on Twitter.

The actresses Swara and Divya retweeted the post, sharing the joy. The trailer was released last year on February 24. However, the release date of the movie still not confirm.
