Mouli Haldar won the title of VLCC Femina Miss India West Bengal in 2020. She belongs to a small town in West Bengal named Chinsurah, Hooghly. Being raised in a multicultural family she was open to new changes and experiences in her life. She excelled in her academics and expected to choose a conventional career path. However, she had different dreams. Her family and friends had criticized her for choosing modeling as a career. Therefore, She left her home to participate in the Miss India West Bengal beauty pageant and ended up winning it.
Mouli runs a school for underprivileged kids for free in her hometown. She also trains and motivates kids on mental health issues. Therefore, helping them to fight against the stigma of mental health issues. Also believes that every school and institute should have a mental health coach. She is also a part of the Child Help Foundation and the ketto organization(fundraising organization) which helps underprivileged kids who are suffering from cancer. This organization is operating from all over India and helping children to live better lives.
Sushmita Sen, former Miss Universe is her inspiration. Her sole motive in life is to stand for the underprivileged kids and create awareness about mental health through the Miss India organization.
