Models are generally perceived to be tall and skinny people with sharp, sculpted facial features. However, model Mitali Sonawane is here to break the stereotype and redefine cliched beauty notions.
Mitali suffered serious burns when she met with an accident at the age of 5. She further suffered major injections and went through a coma for 10 days. However, Mitali did not pity herself for her disfigured face but was rather grateful to be alive after the accident. When she decided to pursue her career in modeling, she went through several struggles. However, she never backed down and participated in several pageants like Miss Diva, Miss Tiara, and Miss India. Mitali made it to the top 5 of Miss Tiara India. She received tremendous support from people in the industry. One of the judges also praised her for wearing a bikini with such grace. She has also done modeling assignments and trained with Cocoaberry Talent and Academy.
Mitali had also shot for a pageant called Unconventional Beauty and also judged the online India Super-Glam Pageant show in 2020. She also won the National Youth Icon 2020 award. The model has amazing dancing abilities and often posts reels on Instagram flaunting her skills. She is focused and determined to fulfill her dreams. She aspires to work with brands like ‘Reebok’ and ‘Nike’.
