Vaibhav was interested in the modeling and acting industry since childhood. He started working from class 10th. After completing his studies he started working with the bank. But his passion was something he could not get over. He decided to follow his passion even if he had to take hard steps in his life.

“Even I was making good money from the corporate bank job, but yet something was missing in my life. The passion for modeling grew more in me. For this, when I resigned from my job at the bank and started modeling, my family was not ready to accept that and asked me to leave the house. It was quite disheartening for me at that time. I stayed as a paying guest for almost six to seven months after I left my house.”

Despite not getting support from his family, Vaibhav never gave up. He gave his hundred percent to fulfill his dreams. The first professional work he did was a cover shoot for India Today Magazine.

But the initial stage was quite full of struggles for Vaibhav. He was new without any links and experiences in this industry in the beginning.

“The foremost struggle was getting shows and shoots. And, also I was doing the job at that time, managing job and scheduling both were very struggling and difficult for me.”

While sharing about good and bad experiences, he shared,

“As you know most of the designers and people in this industry try to manipulated  you when you are newbie. It happens with me quite a few times and also was asked for a compromise. And lost many good shows and shoots as he denied.

Talking about good experiences, he worked with many brands and designers. Did many ramps shows and also have been showstoppers for a few.”

His focused vision towards modeling and passion lead him to many successful works and shows. He walked for National and International fashion weeks & fashion shows like Lakme Fashion Week, Times Fashion Week, Vogue Fashion Show by INIFD, and many more.

“Modeling is not a long-time career. You have to keep your backup for the present and future too. Modeling is a passion not a permanent source of income.”

As a part of rejection, he also faced due to his height which is 5’11 ft. And usually made models have to be 6 ft and above. Then he acknowledged Rohit Khandelwal, Mr. World 2016 who is 5’10 ft.
