Motherhood and family
Sharma spoke about her experiences with motherhood.
She said, ” I changed physically when I became a mother, but the fact that people around me changed hurt me. Having been an actor for eight years, I was used to the attention but, when I put on weight and gave up work, a lot of people made me feel insignificant.”.
She was also facing self-esteem issues. Out of her love for music and dancing, Sharma decided to become a DJ. She said that it made her nervous but also added excitement to her life.
Winning the title
Tapeshwari Sharma saw the call entries for the Femina contest on Instagram and became thrilled.
She said, “I was so thrilled when I saw it, but I didn’t register because I knew, in between my son’s online school, my deejaying, and my responsibilities at home, it would be very difficult to find time to take part. But my husband pushed me to register; he assured me that he would help out more with our son and home.”.
The actress finds this lockdown tougher than the last one as she was looking forward to enjoying Mrs. Femina 2021 which she achieved with hard work.
” Now, as the title winner, I think I have a lot of opportunities opened up to me and a lot of responsibilities. I want to use the title to make a difference in my life and other’s lives. I think it will give a lot of hope to so many great married women who are capable of doing great things; it is a chance to be recognized for being multi-taskers and achievers.”, Tapeshwari said talking to Femina.
Tapeshwari Sharma believes that any woman is bound to reach new heights when her dreams are supported. Her last show was Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev. She believes that this title has opened up new doors for her and she is ready to make use of the opportunities to the fullest!
