Models venturing into acting is a common phenomenon, across the globe. However, the time that one takes to make their mark in the entertainment industry is different.
Aditi Arya, the winner of fbb Femina Miss India World 2015, is also one of such models. She finished under top 5 in the Multimedia Award, and People’s Choice award in the 65th edition of Miss World. Arya ventured into films with her debut project in Tollywood titled, Ism. Ism was directed by Nandamuri Kalyan Rath. Arya is also a part of Ranveer Singh’s latest project ’83, based on the first world Cup win for India. The movie is up for release after the pandemic lockdowns.
The 27-year-old model turned actress is a DU alumnus, graduating from Business Studies, from College of Business Studies in 2014. However, she was a research analyst by profession.
Recently, with the ongoing pandemic’s second wave, Arya was one of the many influencers who stepped in to lend hands for COVID relief measures. She provided free consultation and mentorship for aspiring models who wanted to be part of the Miss India contest, who donated to one of the current relief workers on the ground, through Instagram. The mentorship included her answering calls and queries of the people interested.
Aditi has a few movies in her kitty, and some ready to release. And, also shooting for her next Tollywood film Ninnu Vadili Nenu Polenule.
