Bangalorean model Mitali Rannorey is the perfect style icon. Other than modeling for Indian fashion designers, she has also tried her hand at acting and bagged a role in ‘Dear Zindagi’.
The 30-year-old model was studying to become a telecom engineer when modeling fell into her lap. She has worked with Falguni Shane Peacock, Masaba Gupta, Satya Paul, and Anamika Khanna. Not to mention her campaigns with Gavin Miguel and Gaurav Gupta. She has walked at the Lakme Fashion Week and featured in Grazia magazine and T2 by Telegraph. She has also shot for several jewelry brands and saree campaigns and she even has her own saree label. Mitali and her husband, Bambii Das have run a saree label called ‘Omaago’, which means awestruck in Bengali.
Moreover, the model was also part of the film ‘Dear Zindagi’, starring Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan. She played the role of a warrior in the film. In an interview with Explosive Fashion, she said, “Every scene was an experience, right from horse riding and sword fighting to firing. These were the most adventurous moments in my life — and it happened all in just one day! I’m glad I chose modeling and acting as a career and feel content with what I’m doing. Focus on yourself and your aim. Nothing can stop you”. Mitali also said that she never takes anything for granted and looks forward to new experiences every day.
