Filmmaker and actress Mandira Bedi’s husband Raj Kaushal passed away after suffering from cardiac arrest this morning. He was 49. Actor Rohit Roy confirmed the news and said that Raj passed away in the morning at 4:30 am. The late filmmaker’s funeral took place at a funeral ground in Shivaji Park, Dadar in Mumbai.
Raj’s friends and many other people from the film fraternity expressed their grief on his demise. Actor Ashish Choudhary paid his last respects and was seen outside Raj’s house. Neha Dhupia who visited Raj and Mandira’s house a few days back mourned the death of her friend. Anupam Kher also expressed grief that after hearing the sad news. Raj Kausal produced films like “Shaadi Ka Laddoo”, “Pyaar Mei Kabhi Kabhi”, “My Brother….Nikhil”. Also, directed movies like “Anthony Kaun hai” and “Shaadi Ka Laddoo”. Mandira and Raj tied the knot in the year 1999.
