Natasha Ramachandran has went on to become one of the most successful Indian models abroad. With her talent and determination, she has become a popular face in the industry, both nationally and internationally.
The half Tamilian- half Bengali model moved around for the most of her childhood since her father was an army man. She graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Designing(NIFT). Her first break was in Mumbai for the brand Lakme. Anima Creative Agency signed her right after. Since then, she has worked with Indian fashion designers like Tarun Tahiliani, Ritu Kumar, and was featured in editorials of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Cosmopolitan. The model has cultivated a global identity having spent time in Paris, Tokyo, New York, and London walking for globally famous brands like MAC Cosmetics, Moncler, Zimmermann, Tibi, Sephora, and Misha Nonoo. Natasha has also walked at fashion weeks in New York and London.
She has also worked with Sabyasachi and Prabal Gurung. Talking to Beaubit Daily, she said her beauty inspiration was her grandmother. Advising on beauty, she said, “Don’t hold yourself to the standards that you see in fashion magazines or beauty platforms. Beautiful people on magazines, modeling clothes, advertising beauty brands—that is not the default, so don’t make that the norm of beauty”.
