Recently, the Federation of Cine Technicians and Workers Eastern India (FCTWEI) had alleged that stars from the show ‘Mithai’ and ‘Ei Poth Jodi Na Sesh Hoy’ were shooting at rented flats, warehouse or guesthouse instead of shooting from home. The team denied these statements. Moreover, the team of ‘Ei Poth Jodi Na Sesh Hoy’ has stopped shooting from home.
The director of the show, Swarnendu Samaddar confirmed the news. Recently, technicians from the sets of this show had reportedly tested Covid-positive. The Bengali show has caught the eye of the audience with its gripping story starring, Writwik Mukherjee and Annwesha Hazra. However, due to the pause on the shoot, no fresh episodes will be currently aired on Zee Bangla.
There is currently no decision from other daily soaps about a halt on filming. Meanwhile, Artists’ Forum, FCTWEI, and TV channels have started a vaccination drive for actors and technicians.
