Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap is well-known for his off-beat films. His films have changed perceptions and have also directed Indian cinema towards a new outlook.
According to sources, the director will be doing a Hindi remake of the Hollywood film ‘Kill Bill’. The Hollywood legend Quentin Tarantino directed the film in 2003 starring Uma Thurman as the lead. She is also one of the most accomplished female warriors in the history of cinema. Anurag Kashyap will cast Kriti Sanon in the lead role as per sources, although nothing is official as of now. However, the project is not yet conceptualized and the source also said, “Although nothing has been finalized yet. The project is in its infancy right now. Why is it being leaked to the press?”.
The film’s plot revolves around a woman who swears to avenge a team of assassins after they try to kill her and her unborn child. Tarantino’s brainchild is a state-of-the-art classic in Hollywood cinema. The film had also placed in Empire magazine’s list of 500 Greatest Films of All Time. Anurag Kashyap has directed and produced some of the greatest films in Indian cinema like ‘The Lunchbox’, ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, and ‘Manmarziyaan’. He has also co-directed India’s first Netflix Original series, ‘Sacred Games’.
