A self-made Bengali model, Priyadarshini Chatterjee, has made her mark in the modeling industry with the hunger of following her passion. She won Miss Femina India World 2016 and also represented India at the Miss World 2016 pageant. The model has also posed for famous fashion magazines like Grazia and Cosmopolitan.
She spent her childhood in Guwahati, Assam. The model has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Hindu College, Delhi University. During her graduation, she developed a passion for modeling and decided to pursue it. She has worked with renowned brands like Kay by Katrina Kaif, Kalki fashion, and every bride’s dream designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. In a recent interview with Telegraph, the model spoke about her first Sabyasachi campaign. Priyadarshini said, “It was in February 2017. I was in Miss World and I did not make it on the finale night and I came back to my hotel room not very happy and then I got a message from my agent that I had been blocked for a Sabyasachi shoot. I loved everything he did, his work. So, when I got that news, it was a dream come true.”. She has been working with him for four years now.
The model draws her inspiration from Indrani Dasgupta, Nayanika Chatterjee, and Adriana Lima. The model’s plans include going international. Priyadarshini has also worked with Star Sports India. She describes herself as a simple and ambitious person but tries to find a work-life balance. Priyadarshini dreams of having her lifestyle studio one day.
